Do I Qualify?

The first step to enrolling with Alameda Alliance for Health is to see if you or your child qualifies for any of our programs.

Each program has its own set of eligibility criteria, so it's always best to contact us to see which program is right for you.

Medi-Cal: Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for Medi-Cal, you must meet the following:

  • U.S. Citizen/qualified legal immigrant
  • Be one of the following: parent, child, elderly or disabled individual
  • Have a low income (guidelines apply) 
  • You must be an Alameda County resident to selected Alameda Alliance for Health for Medi-Cal

Alliance Group Care

Alliance Group Care is an employer-sponsored plan that provides comprehensive health care coverage to In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) workers in Alameda County through a contract with the Alameda County Public Authority for IHSS.

The Public Authority enrolls eligible homecare workers in a low-cost plan that includes medical, dental and vision coverage – all for one price. Call the Health Benefits Hotline anytime at (510) 777-4201 for information or to request an application. You can also visit the Public Authority online.
