If you are ready to start an application for health care coverage, please follow the steps below.

If at any time, you would like help, call the Member Services department at 510-747-4567, or toll-free at 1-877-932-2738, CRS/TTY: 711 or 1-800-735-2929, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
You can apply in person, by mail, over the phone, or online. Eligibility and enrollment services are provided by the Alameda County Social Services Agency.
If you wish to apply in person, you may go to one of the Alameda County Social Services Agency public contact offices Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and noon and from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
To apply for Medi-Cal by mail, please call 510-777-2300 or 1-800-698-1118 to request a Medi-Cal mail-in application and instruction booklet.
