Find a Behavioral Health Care Provider – Alameda Alliance for Health

Effective April 1, 2023, Alameda Alliance will manage Mental Health (MH) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

As an Alliance member, you have access to behavioral health care services. These services are offered through our delegated provider, Beacon Health Options through March 31, 2023. Effective April 1, 2023, Alameda Alliance will manage Mental Health (MH) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.

For Providers

The Alliance will honor all authorizations in place through their expiration date.
The Alliance is offering virtual open office hours for any unanswered questions that mental health/ABA providers may have. For more information and how to register, please click here.

What is changing?
- The Alliance will manage access to Mental Health and Behavioral Health Therapy (BHT) services. The Alliance will no longer be using Beacon Heath Options.
Will my treatment plan change?
- No. Until your treatment plan changes, you will receive your same services. The plan will remain the same even if you change providers.
Will my mental health or behavioral health therapy (BHT) provider change?
- As long as your provider contracts with the Alliance, you may still be able to see your same provider. You may continue to see your current provider for up to twelve months after Saturday, April 1st, 2023, for any and all services without disruption. This includes if you are seeing a provider for an acute or chronic condition. The Alliance will help you find a new provider if you choose to change providers.

Prior authorization (approval) is not required for routine outpatient behavioral health care services.
