Standing Committees
Finance Committee
  • The Finance Committee takes up all issues and makes recommendations to the Board pertaining to rate structure, budget, fiscal strategy and policy, financial projection, investment, selection of banks and depositories, and other fiscal matters.
    Health Care Quality Committee
  • The Health Care Quality Committee (HCQC) facilitates issues pertaining to the quality of care. It documents that the quality of care provided is being reviewed and that action and follow-up are conducted to improve care if deficiencies are identified. HCQC's quality assurance program addresses service elements, including accessibility, availability, and continuity of care, while monitoring the provision and utilization of services.
    Member Advisory Committee
  • The Member Advisory Committee is responsible for participation in establishing public policy of the Alliance and makes recommendations and reports to the Board.
    Strategic Planning Committee
  • The Strategic Planning Committee takes up issues and makes recommendations to the Board pertaining to long-term planning, including expansion to new populations and businesses; reviews business policies; and determines strategic direction of the Alliance.
    Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
  • The Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (P&T) recommends to the Board policies for all matters related to the therapeutic use of drugs and certain medical supplies, with its goal being to ensure continuing patient access to a quality driven, cost-effective, rational, drug benefit through the Alliance Drug Formulary.
    Peer Review and Credentialing Committee
  • The Peer Review and Credentialing Committee (PRCC) takes up issues and makes recommendations to the Board regarding provider credentialing and recredentialing, patient safety events, peer review, and provider-related grievances and complaints. In accordance with the California Welfare and Institutions Code Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 7 and other applicable law, this committee holds closed meetings.
